This 14-day journey will examine Cuba’s history and culture and explore how African cultures blended with European influences to create contemporary Cuban culture. Through cultural immersion, guided tours, and excursions, students will have music, dance, art, and religious encounters that allow them to examine their lives in the U.S. in relation to the values, norms, and cultural experiences of Cubans. Application deadline is February 1, 2019.
